Do you do these etchings by hand or by machine?

Etching each piece individually means that your etching has been personally inspected at least five times throughout the process of etching, assembly, and shipping. Will my mirror reflect like a normal mirror?

When you hang your mirror on your wall, whatever is gray in the pictures will reflect whatever background is around it, just like any other mirror. These etched mirrors will reflect as bright as any mirror you've ever seen. The images on our website show them reflecting a plain gray background in order to give you the clearest possible view of the design.

Do I need any special process or cleanser to clean the mirror?

No, any ordinary liquid glass cleaner can be used. The etchings will last as long as the mirror because they are permanent. To clean the frames, you can use any wood furniture polish.

Where do you get your designs?

We have arrangements with a number of talented artists who etch the artwork you see on our site. Some of them are big name artists. Others are new to the art scene. All of them bring a touch of personality to their work to add a special flair to your special space.

How long will my etching last?

Your etching will last as long as your mirror. We will gladly replace any etching that fails to live up to this guarantee. Note: this lifetime guarantee does not apply to broken glass except within the first 10 days after shipment.

What materials do you use for frames?

Our frames are crafted in the USA with the highest quality materials. Coat racks and mirror frames are 100% solid hardwood. We use:

How sturdy are the frames?

The wood is hand-rubbed with a double lacquer finish. You'll enjoy the silky smooth feel of the wood along with quality you would get from the biggest name furniture manufacturers.

How sturdy are the hangers you use on your coat racks?

The coat racks can hold the heaviest of coats and come with everything needed to mount on your wall. Our coat hooks are made from sturdy antique-finished brass with porcelain tips.

Are your clocks reliable at keeping time?

You will always know the correct time with one of our clocks. These quartz-movement clocks are guaranteed for one full year and run on two AA batteries (not included).

Do I need to assemble anything when my order arrives?

No, just remove your order from its shipping box and it's ready to hang wherever it will make the most impact.

What will you do if my order is damaged in shipping?

Contact us by email at customerservice@etchedmirrors4u.com or call us at 1-217-840-8257 to let us know. The possibility that your order will arrive damaged is very small. We work closely with UPS to ensure that our packaging can protect your purchase from their normal handling process. If your order is one of the few that arrives damaged, we'll replace it right away at no further charge.

What happens if I change my mind about my order?

If you are dissatisfied for any reason with your order after it arrives, call us at 1-217-840-8257 or email us at customerservice@etchedmirrors4u.com and tell us the problem. If you choose to return your order, we will refund you 100% of the price of the item if it is received back within 30 days of the original ship date. We don't charge any restocking fees. You are responsible only for the cost of shipping.
